‘Nobody’ has been selected to attend the 2019 Formentera International Festival of Short Films, Documentaries and Video Art in Spain.
Directed by Elham Toroghi, the 9-minute animation will be screening at the competition section of the Spanish film festival.
The short film tells the story of a white cat trying hard to get food but no one seems bothered to give away. The cat faces all the difficulties simply due to being white in a city with all the black residents.
The little white cat that is now ostracized even by its fellow feline mates makes friends with a little white bird.
The flick has so far attended a number of international animation festivals, including the 22nd ANIMAC Int’l Film Festival in Spain, the 11th ANIMANIMA Int’l Animation Festival in Serbia and the 7th Tour Int’l Film festival in Italy.
It also attended the 2019 Student Academy Awards which recognizes and honors student filmmakers who demonstrate excellence in the creation of motion pictures.
The ninth edition of Formentera International Festival of Short Films, Documentaries and Video Art is slated for May 16-19, 2019.
